Perfectly imperfect...

Funny how one project snowballs into another, and another, and another...
Cleaning my linen closet led to sheets I no longer needed, which led to dismantling  my grown sons' bedroom (he's be out of our nest for several years now so it was PAST time). I've been slowly working to make the room presentable as a guest room, but was faced with  this... assortment of hand weights and a not so attractive weight bench. My husband uses the weights from time to time and I didn't want to completely put him over the edge by not only removing all of our sons' "home roots", but relegating the weights to the garage as well :) So what's a girl to do? As I mentioned previously, I've pinned gobs of projects I'd like to try in Pinterest. One being, rag rugs (remember all those unneeded linens?). Let me just preface by saying, I do not know how to crochet. But thanks to some great tutorials, I picked up enough to create a "country shabby chic" cover that hides the bench and weights. It's perfectly imperfect and fits in nicely with the existing bed linens.

I l♥ve it when a plan comes together!!!
